Following the recently concluded Career Forum organized by Resources of the Blind, Philippine Central Engagement Services, Inc. (PCES) team successfully presented its job matching websites to the Christian Foundation for People with Disabilities (CFPD) on October 2, 2025, at Bacolod City.
Moreover, in support of this initiative, CFPD expressed its willingness to host a PWD employment podcast addressing employment opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).
PCES presented the three major job-matching platforms that they have developed: OJTGo, Chains2Chances, and PWD-E.
OJTGo serves as an internship matching platform connecting students and companies looking for internships and interns. Students who experienced the difficulty of finding internship opportunities created OJTGo.
Hence, OJTGo came from students and was made for students. Furthermore, the platform builds a bridge between companies and aspiring interns, helping both parties achieve mutual goals.
Meanwhile, Chains2Chances operates as a job matching platform tailored for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs). This platform represents the first initiative that aims to secure jobs for soon-to-be-released PDLs.
Additionally, PCES already formed partnerships from multiple BJMP offices such as BJMP Calabarzon, BJMP Bacoor, and BJMP Tanza.
PWD-E functions as a job matching platform for Persons with Disabilities. Millions of PWDs in the Philippines remain underappreciated and overlooked despite having the necessary skills for the job.
PCES believes that everybody deserves an equal chance. Moreover, it is imperative that Filipino PWDs do not just take the minimum 1% of positions. Instead, they should shine brightly and show their true potential.
CFPD is a non-government organization dedicated to serving and transforming the lives of Persons with Disabilities through supporting them.
In addition, CFDP focuses on outreach, community service, and encouraging individuals and churches to involve Persons with Disabilities across their churches and communities.
CFPD pitches to feature all the PCES platforms that are mentioned above through its upcoming podcasts series which will be centered on increasing job opportunities and lifting awareness for Persons with Disabilities employment.
The potential collaboration through a PWD employment podcast highlighted a shared commitment between PCES and CFPD to raise awareness, enlarge employment access, and encourage greater inclusion of Persons with Disabilities in meaningful workplaces and communities.
