Project Forward Webinar Strengthens Employment Hope for Persons With Disabilities

PCES INC. successfully conducted a webinar entitled “Project Forward” which aims  to give new hope and employment opportunities for Persons With Disabilities, wherein over 132 individuals including Persons with Disabilities (PWD), partner organizations, employers and guests joined the online conference held via Google Meet last September 6, 2025.c 

What is Project Forward ?

Project Forward is a project focusing on creating opportunities for all, the project’s acronym “FORWARD” emphasizes inclusivity, empowerment, support and opportunities through the support of pwd-e, a job matching platform dedicated for Persons with Disabilities. 

Highlights of the Event

The webinar featured a series of discussions on the company profile of PCES Inc., the functions of the pwd-e.com website, registration processes, and the goals of Project Forward and lastly is the question and answer portion coming from the webinar participants. 

 

Leo Herrera, Chief Operating Officer , PCES Inc. briefly presented the  company profile while Cromwell Bautista Taduran, Placement Coordinator, Saint Benilde and one of the resource speakers, provided an in-depth presentation of “Project Forward” 

 

Furthermore, participating organizations such as Tahanang Walang Hagdanan [link to 08/29/25] and the Resources for the Blind, Inc. (RBI) [link to 07/12/25] also joined the event and gave insights on the benefits of the pwd-e website including the advantage of hiring Persons with Disabilities.

 

The program also featured inspirational messages from Peter Paul Baltazar, freelance Sports media practitioner followed by Art Valdez, Utility Bill Associate, Accenture and both of whom are  Persons With Disabilities. They both shared their personal journeys and success stories in overcoming challenges to employment, giving encouragement to participants and employers subsequently.

Looking Ahead

PCES Inc. is also set to organize another webinar in the near future to further strengthen its advocacy for Persons With Disabilities employment through the use of the pwd-e platform.

 

Through initiatives like Project Forward, PCES Inc. continues its commitment to building inclusive workplaces and ensuring that  the skills, abilities, and contribution of  Persons with Disabilities will be recognized.
