Philippine Central Engagement Services (PCES) Inc.  had a fruitful conversation with the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Iloilo focusing on pwd-e presentation as well as the integration of inclusive hiring practices of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)  at Iloilo City last October 1, 2025.

It’s not PCES’s first presentation to government offices regarding their job platforms. Last September, PCES introduced PWD-E to the Cainta Extension of LTO Region 4-A.

During the presentation, PCES explained the PWD-E website, a job-matching platform for Persons with Disabilities, alongside with Chains2Chances, built to aid the employment of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).

How is PWD-E Different from Other Job Platforms

PWD-E goes beyond being just a job platform—it is a full employment ecosystem for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). Unlike ordinary job boards, PWD-E focuses on accessibility and equitable employment through:

  • Disability-inclusive employers espousing supportive, inclusive hiring.
  • Access-friendly digital interface tools designed with voice and text, as well as a simplified interface.
  • Cooperation among LGUs and PWD-empowering organizations for workplace integration of PWDs.
  • Seamless job matching platform where your disability is not seen as a weakness; it is a testament to your unyielding hard work and perseverance amidst the challenges and discrimination that most, if not all, PWDs face

Previously, PCES has already partnered with non-profit organizations like RBI, Inc. to boost PWD jobs. They also joined the carreer connect employers forums held in Cebu City and Quezon City.

What Chains2Chances Offer to PDLs

Chains2Chances on the otherhand is an employment and reintegration initiative for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs). It goes beyond ordinary livelihood programs by providing:

  • Development of skills and certifications for PDLs to fill employment gaps required post-release.
  • Employment opportunities through partnerships with employers who are willing to extend second chances.

PCES: Leading the Future of Employment

Further, the conversation also stirred on PESO Iloilo’s badge system and explored how PCES platforms can sustain future employment opportunities in the city.

Moreover, both organizations highlighted the essential of showering equal opportunities in the workforce and toughening ties that hasten inclusive employment implementation.
